About Gary

Dr. Powell holds a doctorate in Pastoral Counseling and Psychotherapy. He has been a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Fellow with the AAPC before retiring. He has led a number of conferences and written several articles including a book on Pastoral and Lay Counseling in the Local Church. He served as the Pastoral care minister at Cedar Creek Church and pastored 2 churches. He has over 30 years of Counseling experience.
