About Charles

Charles humbly accepted the call to ministry in 2008 and served as Executive Pastor at New Community Bible Fellowship in Cleveland Heights, OH until semi-retiring to Aiken in 2021.  Following an extensive search for a church home in Aiken, and consistently sensing God’s call back to Cedar Creek Church, Charles and his bride, Denise, joined CCC and signed the membership covenant in July of 2023.  Charles holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and a M.A. in Practical Theology from Ohio Christian University in Circleville, OH.   Before his time in ministry, Charles served 30+ years in various executive roles at several pedigree retailers across the United States.  Charles will be the first to tell you that he feels the thirty years he spent in corporate America was God’s way of preparing him for his real purpose, the work of the ministry (Philippians 3:7-10).    Charles and Denise have two adult children, Kristen and Ryan.
