Making Our Families Better Now
1) Work on myself first.
“I WILL be careful to lead a blameless life— when will you come to me? I WILL conduct the affairs of MY HOUSE with a blameless heart.” Psalm 101:2 (NIV)
2) Prioritize my family.
“But those who won’t CARE FOR their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.” 1 Timothy 5:8 (NLT)
3) Focus on the little things.
“Love is PATIENT and KIND. Love is NOT JEALOUS or BOASTFUL or PROUD or RUDE. It does NOT DEMAND its own way. It is NOT IRRITABLE, and it KEEPS NO RECORD of being wronged.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (NLT)
4) Don’t give up.
“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” 1 Corinthians 13:7 (NLT)
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
