Job Title: Divorce Care for Kids (DC4K) Leader/Co-Leader (3-4 Needed)

Time Commitment – typical # hours per month: 8-10 (One two-hour period per week)
Start Time: 6:15 p.m.

Brief Description: Co-lead a 13-week class of children ages 5-12 using a video and workbook-based curriculum (including activities) for the participants. IMPORTANT NOTE: A parent of the child/children will be on-site attending his/her seminar at the same time. ALSO NOTE: DC4K runs twice annually (two 13-week sessions).
Requirements: A desire to work with children to present age-appropriate lessons regarding parents’ divorce. A desire to help single parents participate in the adult DivorceCare program by hosting the DC4K class in the same building at the same time. ONLINE TRAINING AND BEST PRACTICES TIPS ARE PROVIDED FOR THE VOLUNTEERS.
Gifts/Skills Desired: Ability to communicate with and manage small groups of children (typically fewer than ten children). No experience with divorce necessary but is welcome.
