Easter at Cedar Creek – Part 1
“And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.” 1 Corinthians 15:14 (NIV)

Circumstances don’t define my priorities.
- Compassion
“Jesus HAD COMPASSION on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.” Matthew 20:34 (NIV)
- Reconciliation
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” John 13:34 (NIV)
- Connection
“Jesus went out AS USUAL to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him.” Luke 22:39 (NIV)
Personal preferences can limit my view of God.
“But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the WONDERFUL THINGS he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David,’ they were INDIGNANT.” Matthew 21:15 (NIV)
Disappointment doesn’t define my hope.
“What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah?” Pilate asked. They ALL answered, “Crucify him!
