Local Connect Day

We want to connect our church family with real and urgent needs.

Pick an organization and sign up to volunteer. Let's be the hands and feet of Jesus in Aiken by teaming up with local organizations that are up to some serious GOOD.

You might recognize some of our Cedar Creek Church Partners and you might see a few new organizations. We're confident everyone in our church family can find a place to serve.

On Sunday, September 15th many of these local organizations will be present at the 9 & 11 a.m. services to speak with you about their upcoming service projects.

LEARN Aiken

LEARN Aiken’s Mission is to create and provide educational programs, games and outdoor activities that bring together children and horses to help stimulate the desire to learn and read. We believe that by creating an environment where children have direct contact with these fascinating animals, it will open up a world where learning is both fun and exciting.

We are here to create a place of peace and sanctuary for kids and equines in Aiken to develop a love for learning that can then be applied to all aspects of having a full, deep, and abundant life.
…I have come that they may have life and have it to the full. John 10:10

Volunteer for their upcoming event, Lassos for Learning.

ACTS - Area Churches Together Serving

Poverty has ripple effects.

In our community, the effects of poverty are seen in broken families, lack of education, few work opportunities, health issues, crime, addiction, abuse…the list goes on. Because all people are created with value, poverty keeps people from their potential. We believe when someone is kept from their potential, we all lose. Join our diverse group of volunteers, donors, and staff to help move people from need to their potential, by fighting poverty and strengthening families…one person at a time. Because each person we serve matters to God!

You can volunteer in the following areas: receptionist, interviewer, Food Pantry, Food Pick-Up, Food Distributions, Senior Food Program, Food Home Delivery, Clothing, Housewares/Linens, Resale Store, Clerical, Data Entry, Furniture Pickup, General Maintenance, Adult and/or Youth Volunteers.
